Tug-o-war at Beech Road Festival
the highlight on Chorlton Green is the annual contest between the local pub teams joined this year by Mosaic Shop Fitters of Beech Road. It's not just burley blokes there's strong women teams as well. The Bowling Green blokes didn't show up this year - probably too busy to leave the bar and left it the women to show how it was done. The great thing about tug-o-war is that it's over in seconds and you get close to the action.
