Are the disabled not allowed to enter Beech Road??
I live just off Beech Road and one of my friends have just moved to the Beech Road area of Chorlton and they happen to be disabled. I decided to meet him for a drink the other Saturday and found that there was only one place along the whole of Beech Road that caters for disabled access - the Nose (even though he could not get to the toilet).

Why is it my friend has to be limited to just one establishment when there are so many along the road waiting to be enjoyed! The traders seem to take so much care in the appearance of their shops why are they disallowing particular people the opportunity to venture into them. Do they not know you can now buy for a very small price portable disabled ramps that could be moved as and when needed? This would mean they do not have to spend thousands re-designing their doorways.

Pass this message on to those who should know, and should think about it!!
